I decided to start a blog.
Basically, I realized that I have some free time on my hands and let's face it, I'm hilarious. As a new wife, my husband and I will be facing challenges, fun times and exciting stories as we embark on our new adventures. Why not write about them and share them with the world?
I guess this first post should include some background on us, individually and as a couple. Basically, I wear the pants, so I rock. I'm Ashley, I'll be 23 in September and I will finally have my Master's Degree in Social Work then too. My husband, Jonny is 24 and works with computers. For lack of a better phrase, he is a nerd. We have been in a relationship for 6 years next month. whoa. But, we have known each other for even longer. We were married in March so we are still very much newlyweds, though you'd never know it by watching us interact. We thrive on conflict, it works, whatever ;]
Jonny and I have decided to spend some time together as "just us" before we dive into parenthood. Although, we are the proud parents to our two fur babies, both pugs, Lucy and Vader. Basically, they are disgusting, snort-y, shed like crazy and make our lives better each and every day. Seriously, if you want to laugh every day, have a pug. Those dogs are hilarious without even trying.
These are the beauties. Believe me, they are heavier than they look. But truly, are our best friends.
This seems good enough for the introduction post. I go to school online for the next 14 more weeks and am currently in class right now. I guess I should go pay attention.
Next post will be about the wedding. Since it was not so long ago, I figured it's still acceptable to brag about how fabulous it was.
